Refund Policy
Version 2026-11-04.2
Effective 4 November 2026. This policy explains when we refund a payment for Hibira and how to ask. It is part of our Terms of Service (hibira.io/legal/terms, sections 3.5, 3.9, 3.12 and 9.3). Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, so refunds are paid by Paddle.
1. 14-day refund of your first payment
- If you are not happy with Hibira, you may ask for a full refund of your account's first payment for a monthly or yearly plan within 14 days of that payment.
- We refund the subscription payments made in those 14 days in full, end the subscription at once and move your account to the Free plan. Your apps stay; any above the Free plan's allowance are disabled, not deleted.
- This refund is offered once per account. It does not cover Enterprise agreements, which follow their order form, or prepaid credits.
2. Free trials
Some plans start with a free trial. You are not charged during the trial, and if you cancel before it ends, you are never charged. If you do not cancel, the first payment is taken when the trial ends, and the 14 days of section 1 count from that payment.
3. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time in the portal, or through the link in Paddle's receipt email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. Apart from section 1, cancelling does not refund the current period.
4. Prepaid credits
Prepaid credits are valid for 6 months from purchase and are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or where we end the Service for convenience (section 6).
5. Other payments
Apart from sections 1 and 6, payments are not refunded, because the Service is available as soon as you pay. Upgrades charged during a billing period, renewals and Enterprise invoices are covered only where the law requires a refund. Service credits under an Enterprise uptime commitment are applied to a later invoice, not paid out.
6. If we end the Service
If we end the Service for convenience (Terms section 9.3), we refund the fees you prepaid for the period after it ends and the value of any unused prepaid credits.
7. How to ask for a refund
- Email support@hibira.io from your account's email address, with the order number from Paddle's receipt email if you have it. You can also ask Paddle directly at paddle.net.
- We aim to answer within 2 business days. Refunds are paid by Paddle in the currency and to the payment method you paid with, including any tax collected on the payment. Your bank or card issuer usually shows the refund within 10 business days.
- If a refund is approved, any exchange rate difference or fee charged by your bank is outside our and Paddle's control.
8. Your legal rights
This policy does not limit any right you have under the consumer law that applies to you, such as a right to cancel within a set period. Where such a right applies, Paddle's Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms) describe how it works.
9. Changes
We may change this policy as section 11 of the Terms describes. A change does not affect a refund you asked for before it took effect.
