Live comments and post updates for WordPress
A WordPress plugin with no build step: approved comments appear for every reader, readers get a Reload button when a post is updated, posts show how many people are reading, and WooCommerce order pages follow status changes.

- Settings → Hibira takes the app ID, key and secret and sends a test event. The secret can live in wp-config.php instead of the database.
- hibira_trigger() sends your own events, and the hibira_authorize_channel filter decides who joins your private and presence channels.
- PHP 7.4 and WordPress 6.0 or later, in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai and Vietnamese.

Before you start
- The app secret is shown only once, when you create the app or rotate its secret. Keep it on your server, never in a browser or game build.
- On the Free plan, list every origin your pages load from in the app’s allowed origins (http://localhost:3000 while developing, then your domain). "*" needs a paid plan.
- On the Free plan an event carries up to 4 KB, so a longer comment arrives as a link to it.
Use the app key from your dashboard; the secret stays on your server. Channels, events and authorization endpoints work exactly as they do with Pusher. Create your free account →
