Realtime teamwork for the Statamic control panel

See who else has an entry open, get warned the moment someone saves it, leave live comments, and open live preview on your phone with a QR code. For Statamic 5 and 6, flat file or database.

  • Avatars of everyone on the same entry, and a warning when one of them saves it, so nobody keeps editing an old version.
  • Live comments on entries, which reviewers who may only view an entry can leave too. Comments are JSON files, so no database is needed.
  • Every channel subscription and comment is checked against Statamic’s own permissions, and Statamic’s own Echo client (statamic/collaboration) runs on it too.

  1. Install

    composer require hibira-io/statamic
php artisan hibira:install
php artisan hibira:check

  2. Use it

    Open an entry in two browsers, signed in as two users:
the dock with avatars and comments appears in the bottom right corner.

Open Live Preview once, then press the phone button
for a QR code that opens the preview on another device.

Before you start

  • The app secret is shown only once, when you create the app or rotate its secret. Keep it on your server, never in a browser or game build.
  • Add your site’s address (for example https://example.com) to the app’s allowed origins, so the control panel and preview pages may connect.
